When the weathers nice, I like to go outside, lay a blanket out, and enjoy the sun with my beau and pup. With limited restaurants and businesses open during this time, picnics are a great activity for you and your close loved ones. It also makes a wonderful opportunity for a nicely curated photo 🙂 Whether you’re going to the park, beach, woods, or even your backyard, I’ll give you a list of what to pack for your perfect picnic.
Blanket: This one is easy because you can use any blanket of your choice! I prefer to use a white sheet for photo purposes because it creates a blank canvas for your picnic items to stand out.
Food: Trader Joes is my one stop shop before any picnic. When shopping, I choose light snacks. I love to bring a variety of fruits, bread, crackers, cheese and sausage or prosciutto (for my hubby). Mainly finger foods that won’t require cutlery. Don’t forget the bubbly!
Picnic basket/ beach tote: You’ll need something to carry all your goodies, of course! There’s something about a woven basket or tote that just adds a sweet touch your picnic setting.
Board: I bring a wooden board (could even be a cutting board!) to lay out all my snacks or use as a flat surface for drinking cups or glasses.
Glassware: Separate your fruits in small bowls or plates and lay it around the picnic blanket as well as a few cups for drinks.
Cloth napkins: This doesn’t necessarily have to be cloth napkins, but if you’re curating a nice photo, I suggest cloth napkins to add a subtle and soft texture.
Flowers: This is completely optional but I put it on here because the smallest details go a long way 🙂
Additional items: Hand sanitizer and wipes to stay safe! And also trash bags for clean up. We should always leave our area the way we found it 🙂

i love this! esp the tulips, my favveee!
we like to bring a trash bag, baby wipes, and hand sanitizer or an extra bottle of water to clean off our hands in case we’re in an area that doesn’t have these things around. 🙂
