First things first, welcome to my blog! I am so happy you’ve taken the time to stop by. In my opinion, this blog is a long time coming. I started blogging casually when I was in high school, which was more than 10 years ago. I would post curated photos, outfit details, and life updates here and there, but never found myself to be consistent. By the time I began my full time job as an Accountant, blogging and expressing my creative side was put behind me.
Flash forward to now, I live in sunny California, married the love of my life, work a stable job, and can honestly say I have everything I need. I thought as long as I finally reached this contentment, that was it for me and I didn’t need to dream anything else.
Don’t get me wrong, I am so grateful for everything I have and wouldn’t change anything in my past to get to where I am now. But you see, growing up I was a very low risk, play by the rules type of person. I played it safe and never wanted to go for something too challenging, or too hard. It’s funny how things change. I’m not the same person I was 10 years ago. Heck, I’m not the same person I was last year. Despite the changes, one thing that always stuck with me is my passion for creativity. Creating can mean different things to others. To me, creating is telling a story, styling pieces of clothing, curating photos that stirs emotion. These are the things that bring me joy and have become more valuable as I get older. This is the reason why I created my blog. I want to push the envelope, face the challenges head on, and go for it this time.
I have so many ideas I want to share and information I hope you find valuable. Not only do I want this to be a creative outlet for myself, but more importantly, a safe space you can let your creativity run wild. I’m excited for this new journey and I invite you to join me. Here’s to taking risks, paving our own way, and becoming the person we’re meant to be.
